Lynda Bloom will be running the I-94 Kids Club again this season, and she would like to organize a calendar for the race season with a different driver (or a group of drivers who want to join in together) to donate/give away a prize to the kids each week. This is your way to give back to the little fans that not only cheer you on every weekend, but look up and aspire to be you. Please take this opportunity into consideration, and give Linda a call. For more information, or to sign up, please call our I-94 Kids Club captain Lynda Bloom at (320) 309-8960. Thanks drivers, see you soon!

SAUK CENTRE, MN (May 6, 2008) -Officials from the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN are proud to announce that Chris Clark, a veteran to the racing community, has been named General Manager of the I-94 Raceway. Clark brings with him 21 years of experience in various capacities, mainly around the short tracks of the upper Midwest.
"I'm really excited to be making the move to Sauk Centre and becoming part of the team that makes I-94 click," said Clark. "This track has a terrific history and I hope to help add to that in the years to come."
Clark got his start in auto racing as the announcer at Rockford Speedway in Rockford, IL in 1986. During his 15 year affiliation with the track, he also assisted with marketing and promotions. Before coming to Minnesota in 1994, Clark worked with a sports management firm in Green Bay, WI promoting events at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI. He made the move to Minnesota in 2004, becoming part of the management team at Elko Speedway.
"I've had the opportunity over the years to be able to be an announcer at various tracks and with several traveling series. I've announced races at Daytona, Chicago and several other big venues. I've found that it's at the weekly short tracks where the real racing is," according to Clark. "I've been able to either be a part of, or at the very least observe what is needed for success for the facility and drivers alike. I hope I can add some positives to the already impressive family atmosphere at I-94." Clark traveled with several series including the ARTGO Challenge Series, the I-Power Dash Series (formerly the Goody's Dash Series) and the NASCAR ReMax Challenge Series.
Chris is the father of a daughter, Katie, a UM graduate who works in the wind energy field with a Minneapolis firm and a son, Kellan, who is in his final semester at UM. In his spare time, Clark enjoys fishing and is looking forward to learning about the lakes in the area.

As an American Speed Association sanctioned track, the I-94 Raceway is part of the "first ever" ASA Member Track National Championship.
The goal of the ASA Short Track National Championship is to activate a measuring system which takes into account many variables, such as field size, inversion, wins and number of races in a season, and create a level playing field to determine who is the 'best-of-the-best' of the ASA Member Track Champions Nationwide.
The Joe Gibbs Driven ASA National Member Track Champion Award was designed to give the National Champion exposure with one of the top teams in racing – Joe Gibbs Racing. Joe Gibbs Driven, a division of Joe Gibbs Racing, sells the actual oil products developed and used by Joe Gibbs Racing to racers at all levels. More information can be found at www.joegibbsdriven.com.
The ASA Member Track program is comprised of a network of short tracks around the United States, as well as a variety of regional and national touring series. For news and information from all the racetracks and tours involved in the American Speed Association, visit www.ASA-Racing.com.
